Privacy

This page covers the early-access form for our software for home owners. It is short because the form is the only thing that collects your details today.

What we collect

Your name, email, mobile (if you give it) and suburb. Whether you live in the home, how many boarders you take in or would like to, your preferred language, anything you write in the message box, and whether you ticked the box to hear from us about early access. If you came from a link with a campaign tag (such as utm_source=facebook), we keep that tag so we know how you found us.

Why we collect it

To reply to you. If you ticked the box, we also email you about early access. Every one of those emails tells you how to stop them, and we stop when you ask.

Who sees it

The Bahay Estate team. We do not sell it, and apart from the two providers below, we do not share it.

Where it goes

Your details are stored with our hosting provider. Our email provider, Resend, sends us a notification with your details so we can reply. These providers may store or handle information outside Australia.

How long we keep it

Until you ask us to delete it, or 12 months after we last hear from you, whichever comes first.

Seeing, fixing or deleting your details

You can ask to see the details we hold about you, to correct them or to delete them. Reply to any email from us and we will take care of it.

Complaints

Tell us first and we will try to put it right. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Home owners and boarders

A fuller policy, covering the details home owners and their boarders put into the software, will be published before anyone outside Bahay Estate uses it.
